Planting Instructions

Plant the bulbs approximately 3–5 cm deep in loose, fertile and well-draining soil. Position each bulb with its pointed end facing upward and leave some space between the bulbs for healthy growth.

For a mixed display, plant the four varieties together in a wide pot or garden bed. Cover the bulbs lightly with soil and water thoroughly after planting. Always use containers with adequate drainage holes.

Light and Water Requirements

Place the bulbs in an area receiving good sunlight or bright partial sunlight. Water whenever the upper layer of soil begins to dry, but avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet.

Rain Lilies may remain dormant for a period before producing new foliage and blooms. Rainfall or thorough watering after a relatively dry period may encourage flowering.

Plant Care

Add well-decomposed compost periodically to support healthy growth and flowering. After the flowers fade, allow the leaves to remain until they naturally turn yellow, as the foliage helps the bulbs store energy for the next blooming cycle.

Avoid cutting healthy green leaves or disturbing the bulbs frequently.
