Light Requirements

Place the fern in bright, indirect light or filtered light. Gentle morning sun is fine, but avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaflets.

Watering & Care

Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged. Water when the top 1–2 cm of soil feels dry, and let excess water drain out of the pot. Terracotta dries faster than plastic, so check the soil more often in warm weather.

Lemon Button Fern enjoys humidity. Mist lightly in dry weather or keep it near other plants. Feed with diluted liquid fertiliser or a little vermicompost once a month during the growing season, and trim any dry fronds at the base. Move it to a slightly larger pot once roots fill the current one.

After Receiving the Plant

Take the plant out of its packaging as soon as it arrives and keep it in the shade for 3–4 days so it can recover from transit before moving it to its final location.
