Sowing Instructions

Sow the seeds approximately 1–1.5 cm deep in loose, fertile and well-draining soil. Maintain adequate spacing between seeds, cover lightly with soil and water gently.

Keep the soil consistently moist during germination, but avoid waterlogging. Thin crowded seedlings after they emerge to give the roots enough room to develop properly.

Plant Care

Place the plants in a location receiving good sunlight. Water regularly to maintain even soil moisture, as irregular watering may affect root development.

Add well-decomposed organic compost before sowing to support healthy growth. Harvest the turnips when the roots reach a suitable size and are tender.

Under suitable growing conditions, turnips may be ready for harvesting in approximately 45–60 days.
