Sowing Instructions

Sow the seeds approximately 2–3 cm deep in loose, fertile and well-draining soil. Maintain adequate spacing between seeds to allow the plants enough room to develop.

Water gently after sowing and keep the soil consistently moist during germination. Once seedlings become established, avoid excessive watering.

Sunlight Requirements

Sunflowers grow best in full sunlight, ideally receiving around 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Choose an open, bright location for stronger stems and better flowering.

Plant Care

Water when the upper layer of soil begins to dry. Avoid waterlogging, as excessive moisture may affect root health.

Add well-decomposed compost or organic fertiliser periodically to support healthy growth and flowering. Taller plants may require support in windy locations.

Remove dried flowers if desired, or allow the flower heads to mature naturally.
