Planting Instructions

Plant the bulbs approximately 5–7 cm deep in loose, fertile and well-draining soil. Position each bulb with the pointed or growing end facing upward and maintain adequate spacing between bulbs.

Cover lightly with soil and water thoroughly after planting. Use a container with proper drainage holes and avoid allowing water to collect around the bulbs.

Light and Water Requirements

Place the plants in a location receiving good sunlight, preferably 5–6 hours daily. Adequate sunlight encourages stronger growth and better flowering.

Water when the upper layer of soil begins to dry. Keep the soil moderately moist during active growth, but avoid overwatering and waterlogging.

Plant Care

Add well-decomposed compost or a balanced flowering-plant fertiliser periodically during the growing season. Taller flower spikes may require light support in windy locations.

Remove faded flowers to maintain a neat appearance. After flowering, allow the green leaves to remain until they naturally turn yellow, as the foliage helps the bulbs store energy for future growth.
